What Makes the Baja a Great Place to Visit

Baja California is divided into two—the Baja Norte and Baja Sur and bordered by the Sea of Cortes and the Pacific. Baja Norte is an area with commercial fishing towns and fertile vineyards while Baja Sur is known for tourism and cattle ranching. The latter also houses the Sierra de Laguna, a mountain range that funnels the rain down the sand.
Baja takes pride in some of its areas which offer breathtaking views for the tourists and local residents as well. The Los Cabos, the Tourist Corridor, East Cape and Todos Santos are just a few of the town’s most popular tourist destinations. Los Cabos is a port town which has become a place packed with theme bars, cigar shops and souvenir stalls while the Tourist Corridor is a 20-mile highway lined with golf courses, amazing resorts and pristine beaches. Todos Santos is a colonial town and the East Cape features two main fishing communities.

Thousands of gray whales migrate every year around January to March from the Bering Sea to the Pacific Coast’s protected lagoons. Finally, have fun under the sun by sunbathing on the sands of the Baja beaches such as Santa Maria the corridor, Playa las Viudas, El Mednao, Playa del Amor, Playa San Pedro, Playa Palmilla and Playa Costa Azul.
